Welcome back again Christine...nice drop!! I remember some of your first posts, your first walks...your first mile, your first two miles...now you're at the gym...better start taking monthly pictues for your own record, you will be amazed at what a difference there will be in just 90 days and at 120 days. Good luck and here is to an awesome 2016 for you!!!

Yasssss Steven... thank you! I started atkins on February 19th and just so happened to start at the gym on the 19th of May. I think I shall take monthly progress pics from here on out. I took some on my first day at the gym and as bad as they are, they're nowhere near as horrifying as my day one shots.

Heyyy breezytee... I'm eating everythaaang! The past few weeke I've been replacing one meal with a atkins or quest bar, but for the most part I've been a real food girl. Feel free to check out my food journals. I have found myself that if I go too nuts with the veggies I stall or gain, so I usually only do one meal including veggies a day. I've also been doing a bit of intermittent fasting. I eat between 5 or 6 a.m and try not to eat after 1 or 2 p.m. I keep weird hours now that I'm late night gymming. Lol ramble ramble... anyhoo the key is to take the things you want, crave and loooooove to eat and make low carb satisfying versions of them. It's pretty easy once you get into the swing of things.

Breezytee...most of the Atkins books have sample meals for the day to help you see how to eat well and control number of carbs. If you are using a meal planner site plug in your veggies you plan to eat for the day then see what you have left. If you plan the whole day ahead of time you can see what you need to add or take away. And plain food has less carbs..skip gravies and sauces and anything processed.
