3 lbs!! I'm down another 3lbs. I think 3 is the magic number (cue School House Rock), because this is also the THIRD time I'm trying to write in my journal. My clumsy hands have continually clicked out of this tab. But, I will continue with my lament.

So, yesterday, I walked TWICE, once when I got home from work with the boyfriend (who is still trying to comply with the new healthy diet) we walked for about a half hour. I'm learning that right now time is more important than distance.

Then after So You Think I Can Dance, which makes me think I actually can dance, my friend and I went out for an hour. I need to invest in some brighter clothes though, because I'm always walking after dark, and I'm going to hit by a car, which I hope doesn't happen, but with my luck I'm sure it will.

I am losing, which makes me happy, but I just want to know when I will start SEEING the different. I know 6 lbs is a different, but a drop in the bucket compared to what I need to lose in the long run. I know buying clothes for every size drop is both expensive and wasteful, but I just want to see some sort of change in myself physically.

The diet IS getting easier though, and I like that. I no longer crave a mid-morning snack, which makes me feel better about myself, because even though I was just eating grapes or an apple, it means that I'm not always going to be hungry like I was. And I can eat less now, which makes me very happy.

I'm setting a goal of 3 lbs again for next week, hopefully something will come out of it. I'm walking more now, and I will continue to, because the more I walk, the more I burn.

Encouragement is always nice.
