Then you go for it. Go for the laps. Goals are awesome and that's certainly not an unreasonable goal.

I'm pretty sure it's gonna hurt like hell, but that's no reason not to. I was thinking about all the times I was full and finished my food anyway because it tasted good. Each time I was hurting and could barely move after. I've done that more times in my life than I can count. There's no reason why I can't push myself to finish something that's going to improve my health! In both situations I'm layed out groaning after feeling like a mess. Might as well choose to be a fitter mess right?

YOU can easily do it...I think you said you use those rocker shoes...I hated them and they made me sore...just a thought. You may end up using regular walking shoes eventually - good ones with support.

Oh I love them. They somehow make my feet hurt less than reg sneakers. That's all I wore when I was a third shift stocker at Walmart. In four months I went from 287 to 225 while eating crap. All I did was work 10 pm to 7am. I ate some kind of dinner thing for breakfast thing (usually reheated fast food, pizza, popeyes), sleep for a few hours and repeat.

Lol I keep forgetting that was a 297 starting weight then. I was chugging along losing weight and using a crappy old scale. 30 lbs down and I invested in a good scale that measured everything. I jumped on the old one and then the new for comparison and went up 10 lbs in an instant. I was super bummed at first, but that faded and I felt even more accomplished.

I used to have an old scale. I could adjust the weight by leaning in different directions. :D
