It was a wonderful weekend since my hubby is back, and today he left again for work. I now realize why I always gain weight when he's around- he doesn't make me eat more or anything, in fact he really wants me to lose weight. I realize it's because I don't have time to check in with FS when he's here, it feels like a full time job when he's home hahaha!! It's this app, the people in FS, all the little tools that help me in this battle. It's crazy, the feeling I get when he's here. Maybe I figured out why I was up 5 lbs!!

Funny, Smarty! For many years my wife worked graveyard, while I worked days. Were these the best years of my marriage??? I will take the 5th Amendment on that thought. For fear I may incriminate myself. lol

That's so hilarious Warren, sometimes I think it's funny to see that the time apart is good for your health! Lol! I'm just gonna settle back into counting every thing on here, it's what was working! I shouldn't mess with a good thing!

Aw crap, that's too bad Smarty...hope you figure out a way to figuratively "have your cake and eat it too"...in other words, enjoy your time with hubby and lose weight at the same time...win - win! My better half and I get to spend a lot of time together and no issues re weight gains for us during this time together..socializing with friends and family however be challenging. I guarantee you, you did not gain 4 or 5 lbs of fat! Water weight. We're you low carb then ate carbs? Same thing is happenng to me. Had a big slice of water melon... and didn't cheat on carbage but I know I went over my carbs 1 or 2 days and gained water weight back. Going to log a loss next week lol. Hang in there!

I understand your plight. I do well Monday to Friday, while my wife is at work. My undoing is at the weekend, when she is home all the time.

Perhaps you are not as active when your DH is around; I find that mine prefers to sit down after meals and I join him - - I think it is better to stay up and moving for a bit after eating to get a good start to work off the meal.
