I've decided that at each 50lb milestone I should reassess my goals and make new ones. So, since I have lost 51lbs, here is my new goal!
My weight loss has started to slow now that I have lost a lot of weight fast from the sudden change to low sugar.
Now I aim to lost 10lbs a month, that's about 2lbs a week, which for me, isn't unreasonable.
If I can maintain a 10lbs/month loss rate that will out me at my final goal next February, 13 months after I started losing weight.
That would also mean that by the end of summer I will have lost another 50lbs and once again be below 200lbs
Then, perhaps once I get to my 100lb milestone I will adjust my weight loss goals again to reflect my rate of loss.
Fortunately summer is coming so I will be able to swim at the river, walk more, and eat more fruit and vegetables since it is very expensive to buy here so we grow our own

You are so inspiring!!! 50 pounds!! Yea!!! Wow! 2lbs/ week sounds like a very healthy way drop the rest of the weight that you want. In addition to having weight goals, do you have any concrete actions to support your goals? Something that is clear that you can measure and monitor? For me tracking my food is huge so I'm monitoring if I've tracked or not, and what exercise I do. It's more fun to set your action goals to be a bit below what you actually think you can do, but is more than what you do now - then when you blow it away you'll get a huge shot of joy, momentum, and confidence.

A very ambitious goal but it can be done very few treat days increase activity and seriously watching everything you eat
