Those jelly beans are still hiding in the closet. Woohoo! Happy dance!

These last few days I've been sluggish and not getting all my steps in. I finally realized that it's tied to my taking a sleep aid the previous night. So bye bye sleep aids and melatonin because you just give me hangovers and make me too inactive the next day.

On the flip side, when I don't get enough sleep I become very irritable and snack like crazy in order to stay awake. At least I'm aware of the hazards of both sides of the coin.

I'll have to experiment with sleepy time teas and calming night time rituals instead.

Some times I have nights where I just lay there. No pain discomfort my eyes just won't close. I tried the melatonin and some sleepy time teas with no help. someone told me about magnesium which I take anyway, but I started taking it before I go to bed instead of taking it with a meal, and I fall asleep easier and quicker. You may want to try the magnesium .
