Water aerobics has been fun and I will totally miss it. But, the time has come to step it up. I find I am pushing my self and still barely work up a sweat. ( I know, in the water not much of a sweat, but I feel like it just isn't enough any more.) I am totally bored with it and I feel I have conquered it. So now, I have to find something new to do. I will still stop in and do it once in a while, but, I need more.

I think my husband is finally coming around to come to the gym- yay! I think he might have gone last night if his shoes were better. ( needs new ones, for real)I love the idea of gym dates and being buddies there. I hope this happens, but if it doesnt, I know I am going anyway.

I guess I need to schedule a time to have all the machines shown to me, and then create a work out.

Question: Do you do cardio every time you go? Or just weights on certain days and cardio on the others? I used to do circuit training and thought that was the way to go, but it is different at this gym. People tend to bogart equipment. Not in a bad way-- in a " I am in the middle of my 45th set and you have to wait" way.

Anyway, today will be an awesome day. It is the first day of fall-- and I hope everyone in the north enjoys the cooler weather for me. Yesterday was 93. Ugh. God, I miss the fall.

My gym has a rule, and that rule is that you get 30 mins on the cardio equipment at peak times... and if you are working on 45 sets you have to let people work in with you - so you do a set and then another person does a set and you switch back and forth. I was doing cardio and strength but now I only hit the gym really once a week - still go to zumba and yoga but the real gym once a week. When I do go I do just strength. I think its a personal choice.
