Hey Everyone,

Im back again! feel off the wagon but really need to get back on and for good this time. anyone got tips for staying motivated and on track? anyone journal their days?
I am really struggling with being an all or nothing person, get on the weighloss and become obsessed bit have a slip and and then are like stuff it all and beat myself up. The struggle is real, I need to be accountable, I need support and I need to do this for myself. Things need to change.

Your calorie deficit may have been too much. Try eating a bit more and having a lower deficit amount. This will be more maintainable and hopefully lessen over eating periods. Also do some research on binge eating as the guilt you're feeling may be a sign of that. Hope this helps :) it's a marathon not a race.

Hi JaneyMcD, I can understand your struggle. It helps me to have my goal somewhere visible to remind me daily. My goal, while it includes weightloss, is more about adopting a healthy lifestyle. Motivation is fickle so I have been working on discipline and consistency. Accepting my slip ups and trying again.

being on fat secret is your first step ! I got off the wagon too and came back but don't be angry at your self , be excited that you'll get to your goals , start hydrating plenty to help you keep full (without all the highly sugared liquids) looking at low calorie diets off you tube or tik tok wherever looks good , but make sure u keep track on the calories ..swap certain foods around so you can still have what you want but different😅 be creative 😊 I have to say now im starting to make myself be creative and cook instead of takeaway it's reminded me that food taste good without all the packet sauces ..I'm experimenting with spices and herbs again and I love it 😀 😍 but I'm sure you know what to do . just being here is a start that alot of people won't even do for themselves

Thank you @Nataliemumma, yeah i definetly need to drink more water. I dont drink sugary drinks but my water intake is poorly. I eat fairly good foods, never take out, I think my skipping meals and then bindging is something i need to work on. I work shift work and its busy so its easy to miss a meal, but im getting better at packing healthy snacks. Thanks for your support 💜

Your welcome Janey I understand with the shift work too I do nights so I skip lunch but get very hungry when I wake up 😅you've totally got this 👍 😊

I have always been like this but recently when I hit 30 I had a massive health scare and now have a brain injury which has kicked me into gear to make slow but steady changes to my over all lifestyle and for the first time I’m seeing good results and not being restrictive. Have lost over 15kgs in 6 months.

I too am struggling with cravings. As much as I try to resist, it is futile... Not sure what to do to help curb these, but all we can do is get back on and keep going. You've got this. Keep going...
