So, yesterday was a great informational meeting on bariatric surgery at Henry Ford Hospital. They have a great program. We went to the Barix clinic last month and I would say that their meeting was not as good. It seemed that they just wanted to push one surgery and made it sound better than it really was. My wife is still taking her time to decide where she wants to go, so we will see what happens soon. As for now, we will progress with knowledge from both meetings.
So, today I started taking a GNC supplement, GNC Burn 60. I need something to try to help give me a "boost", and this sounded pretty good. So far today, nothing too crazy. I will give it some time to see what happens.
Today I started doing less reps, and added on weight to my strength training. I'm sore, but it's a great sore. I need to keep this up. I think this will also help with the losing. I don't think I was pushing myself hard enough. I need to push harder.
