How was meeting mom? lol 

awww thanks for remembering... it was great. she's totes adorbs. everyone in the family was and they were so nice and I got hugs and I was worried for nothing (which is what BF said...) she pulls me aside and says "he's my baby but he's the mouthy one" LMAO (one of the reasons we fit - I am one mouthy gal) he overhead and says "I knew we should have put you in a home" they are all as funny as he is - guess that's where he gets it from... After he says "I was really proud to introduce you to my family" (AWWWWWWW!) Oh - and I didn't eat off plan - most importantly! lol  

That's a heartwarming story! You wrote it so well I can even envision it - what a nice outcome when you were so worried. Might be why Saturn came for an untimely visit to your lip - the stress beforehand. I am not troubled with cold sores, but I've heard Carmex (sp?) is good for clearing them up. Blistex maybe too. 

You think most women are mouthy? lol Mine never stops talking. At least you two can constantly talk over each other's conversation. lol I remember on my first date, I thought, well at least she does most of the talking. Now I have a lifetime of it. You see how it goes? lol 

My two cents! Take lots of time, I mean LOTS OF TIME! lol 

If you can't take the prescription med the only thing I've found that shortens cold sore life is abreva. Carmex/blistex help keep it moist. Abreva has to be used as soon as you feel it coming.  

Abreva and when you get the first tingle... L-Lysine...My brother takes 8- 1000's per day because he swears it got rid of some suspicious nodules on his lungs.. I take a couple 1000 units every hour when I start getting one and it usually doesn't erupt. Good Luck!!

You guys are the BEST I do use abreva and also compress with tea tree oil which burns a little bit seems to make it go faster than abreva alone. And yes agreed the Carmex and everything else is just for moisturizing. I've never heard of the lysine I will Look into that for sure. LOL Warren .... I know girls who don't talk much .... He is very talkative and I actually like that quite a bit. We are always swapping stories and taking about our interests and such. And geez it's been three months and I do plan on taking a long time to decide anything. But it's all good for now and thank you. I still feel terrible lip is better enough to increase water consumption. I feel groggy even though I'm sleeping more than 9 hours a night I feel as if I've eaten sugar and carbs but I haven't. I have gained weight despite eating over calories every single night for a while. But I'm not eating what I shouldn't. Also it's giving me tummy distress ... Tmi I know but that's pretty common. Thanks for all the comments love you guys so much!!!!!!
