I'm an emotional eater and today is proving to be a really hard day to keep it together. My cat has been pretty sick and is starting to jaundice. We finally got some food into her but I can't help but feeling horrible for her

So sorry about your cat. I too am an emotional eater I had a cat with liver disease he battled it for 4 years so I know what that does to you. He will be gone 1 year on the 18th so my emotions are running high too. Just do the best you can.

Thanks Addie. We think she got into some old mouse poison and has been too sick to eat on her own. We're going to try to get some medicine this week and keep giving her food through a syringe (since she ate willingly that way) and a supplement gel. We're hoping that will help her

Ohh...I am a cat lover - I have two and they are my children. Spend the time with your cat and remember to take care of yourself, too.

I was definitely able to relax a little after she started eating. We got some food in her so by the afternoon I was feeling better too

we have 17 cats on the farm and love all of them...my wife calls it a cat sanctuary. most are all females that people drop off that's not wanted.
