You recall the recent exchanges about deer? Last evening, my grandchildren (all young adults) were returning from Comic Con in costumes, and a deer assaulted my second-youngest's Freestyle Limited. Because it's a retired model and was a limited run, parts (if even found) are prohibitively out-priced. It's totaled. So sad; I had a Freestyle exactly like his only a different color and loved it for so many reasons. Eventually replaced it with a Crown Vic that had more pick-up than my son's Police Interceptor. Don't ask how I know ;-). Mine was totaled by a grand daughter taking this lad to school several years ago. So, in the past 12 months we've had three vehicles in this family totaled by deer and my Old Red is also sporting deer-dimples from two separate run-ins. No humans injured but all deer totaled :-(.

I blew it tonight. Youngest grand daughter made smores and asked me twice if I wanted one. Twice I declined; the third time I gave in. One hundred twenty-two over.
