HAHAHA!!

I lost my chicken fat virginity. And don't it feel GOOD!

Baked aubergine for supper. I usually put evoo on. Tonight, as I had chicken fat, I though, why not? So I did and boy, it was good. And I used said chicken fat for frying my chestnut mushrooms. Boyoboyoboy. I have never had such wondreful mushys. They are the same mushrooms I get week in week out, 2.5 kilos a week, the only thing different was the cooking fat.

Now, for years, I have thrown away all that fat (confession - I don't like fat, but it seems most profligate to throw away that energy and then buy in more of a different kind.

So - next time I have a goose........
