1.5 chicken quarters for lunch. Curious if others use paper towels to soak up the grease from chicken? The first paper towel & plate got thrown away after microwaving, but these still got a bunch out! 🧻🐓😋🤔

I certainly do what I cook bacon I guess it depends on what kind of chicken I'm cooking if I'm baking chicken I don't worry so much about it but if I was to fry chicken I definitely would. These days I use my air fryer a lot so a lot of the oil that I would be eating goes into the bottom of the air fryer which is quite disturbing to look at when you see it there I guess it's a lot like a George Foreman grill back in the day.

We put bacon (& sausage) directly onto paper towels as it comes off the pan or out of the oven...
As for quarters like these, they're baked in a pan, but that melts away their fat ( which is good 👍), but coats their bottoms (which is bad 👎).
The redeeming factor is that we cook far longer than most do, cuz we like it crispy. So, more fat melted away than most people do I think...
