After a bit of searching, I found out that Pepto Bismol messes with urine testing... this would explain why my Urinalysis Ketone test strips, are not showing if I am in Ketosis. Oh well, the scale will tell I guess... not that hung up on it, that I would move to blood test strips... will try to get in to see a Physician this week about my stomach. Suspecting it is H Pylori, I tried bombarding it with yogurt and shelf-stable pre/pro-biotics, but it did nothing after almost two weeks. This has been going on for several months now, it's well entrenched into my stomach lining. So in between meals, Pepto Bismol is now my tummy buddy... I have been watering it down by 20%, to keep from gagging on it though... it's a bit too much like trying to swallow liquid Plaster otherwise. I think once I finish off the Baby Bok Choy salad, I am going full on Carnivore for a while... I get more blood tests for the Bariatric Physician and Dietician in Dec, so will see what difference it makes... if any.

Oh my! I know the discomfort you’re going through. I suffered for a week before heading to the E.R. Turned out to be gastroduodenitis. Meds for a month and all is well. I hope you find relief soon.

Thanks both of you... I am stuck waiting for a parcel delivery, which is currently stuck in customs, because they feel the price is too low for wheels for my mobility scooter... so I will suffer financially for something that is not made in this country, but because of the HUGE markuos the mobility shops add on, even with brokerage fees they will still be cheaper... so much for this 'free trade' BS... free for who? we also have our yearly Apt inspection on Thursday ... oh goody another unwelcome, uninvited visit at their convenience, for what 'real' reason I am still not certain. Once this assault on my privacy is over with, I will have the time to get a Dr appointment. I just ran out of stomach meds to drop the acid levels on Sunday, we had been treating it like it was Acid Reflux, but it hasn't changed a thing. So far it isn't very painful, but more uncomfortable, but the coughing is getting more troublesome... I do get the feeling if I stopped drinking Pepto Bismol, it would progress rapidly. So I may be able to get in bloodtesting for it within the next 2 weeks, and get some answers, or perhaps more questions.
