You are so right! I can’t believe how much food costs now! My husband and I went to Portugal for 3 weeks recently. Their food prices are so low! Very little processed food available for purchase. Eating meals out…so much cheaper than here… i.e… very nice dinner at a roof top restaurant overlooking the cliffs in the Algarve for four adults.// opening cocktail, apps., nice entrees… fish, steak; clams ; bottle of wine; dessert, coffee and port … 135.00 total!

Yes, food is incredibly expensive! Not so much where I live, but I visisted my son and wondered how they afford to eat well

I started ordering online for pick up, it saves me money on all the impulse purchases that I do not need. It also saves me calories as I don't grab the chips or cookies on my way by.
