Happy Friday FS friends.
The burger yesterday was yum, as were the fresh beans and spinach salad. Worth the wait and a nice end to a busy day what with lawnmowing and transplanting perennials.

Productive morning as the weather was cooler today. Less so now with the humidity from last nights thunderstorm and the temperature rising. Soil was moistened enough that it is making for easier weed pulling. I know, I know...it seems all I do is pull weeds, but with 2/3s of an acre, and many new plant beds that unfortunately were primed with contaminated triple mix, it will be a while until the perennials fill in enough to assist with weed suppression.

I am so grateful that between the work at the gym and the weight loss so far, I can easily bend, pull, tug, walk, kneel and get back up from ground. Is it the most graceful of things to see? No. But I can do it now. All these abilities I thought were gone forever are now back. Adjusting to not being able to lift as much is a bit of a downer, as there are patio stones I'd like to move, but not the end of the world. Have to protect this prosthetic hip joint as from what I understand I can only have the surgery 1 more time when this one wears out. Fingers crossed.
