Be careful guys when you buy this rice. I found a mistake here. This rice can’t contain 23g of carbs per 100g of product. This type of rice contains at least 60g of carbs per 100g of product, I sent an email to the company.

Spekko lists the nutritional values according to the cooked weight not raw/dry weight so 100g is approximately 33g dry/raw weight, not the best to use if you are strictly tracking. Rice changes by a factor of 3 -3.3 this is my experience with white rice and basmati rice.

No matter, it’s not correct to put information of processed product. The nutritional value must always be stated for the raw, unprocessed product. So it’s still mistake.

Eve, everything is fine with amount of carbs in your brown rice. It’s typical nutritional value for it. I was telling about the mistake on this particular packaging.

I found that the normal Spekko log grainn white rice is lower on the calorie count than even basmati rice
