I've come in to work this morning and just down the street from us there's been a huge fire in the night. We're up to 12 dead as they keep sifting through the burned out building.

At work we're putting out food, sharing spaces. There will be junkies living there - they need sugar cos their stash is probably gone.
the hostel housed something like 100 rooms, everyone's displaced.
Fire alarms did not sound. No sprinkler system. Unbelievable. I hope they lynch the owner. He'd better get jail time or I'm marching on parliament.
We've all said prayers, but more prayers can't do any harm. This is gutwrenching.
