Yay, I'm very pleased to have hit my first 10lbs goal. Only a little bit down this week... but I'll take it, as with a village UK Coronation Celebration last Sunday with cream teas and cake, it was rather a "calorific" event! But we've got to live in the real world and factor in "events" accordingly... finding the right balance between moderation and healthier living.

I've known for a long time, that diets don't work. Well, maybe in the short term to drop a few lbs... but then if we go back to old habits, those lbs creep back on. Even just 1lb a week... look how much that could be in a year if we don't keep an eye on the scales?!

Well, I'm trying to make better lifestyle changes... eating more fruit and veg and less fattier food. The last few weeks I've got into doing more exercise again and been enjoying going out for walks with my hubby. Just need to find my motivation to keep up with swimming... love it when I finally get in the pool, but don't like getting up early on my days off! So my aim is to get back to swimming twice a week... as with bank holidays the last couple of weeks, I didn't got on the Monday's!

Well, I hope you've all had a great week. Onwards and hopefully further downwards for us all.
