Started again, i ended in the hospital a couple weeks back and while was there they checked everything which included my blood sugar. I have been a diabetic for awhile now and know what I need to do but I kept failing my blood sugar was 598! I am now 198 but I have to lower it to at least 150
The Nurse Practioner said I could have had a stroke! They gave my fluids and insulin and didn't let me leave till I was at least below 300 I am also obese and thats hard I can't have a back procedure till I get my blood sugar under control. I'm working hard at eating well. I'm proud of myself for eating better and I feel better. The weight has to come off soon I'm sure

You can do this. :) I have slowly massaged my sugars down to 50, which is US 146, and I'm continuing to massage it via keto. I eat about 75g protein, 20g net carbs (or aim for it anyway!) and all the rest of my daily calories in fat. It sounds bad but there is great satiety and no constant hunger, but if I go over 20g carbs I go into a feeding frenzy and want to eat all of the carbs so Keto is my only diet friend. :D I tried to plug your 598 into my hba1c calculator and it doesn't even go that high so that must have been terrifying (https://www.hba1cnet.com/hba1c-calculator/) We use different measures in NZ so when I'm on an american website I translate...
