The applesauce was made today in my crockpot: 6 apples, 3 pears, juice from 1 small lemon, 1/3 cup water and 2 teaspoons of ground cinnamon. Cooked on high for 4 hours. I used pears because I was afraid they would go bad and I only had 6 apples (the recipe actually calls for 9 apples, but use what you have!).
