I'm on day 5 of being vegan, and day 6 of not drinking pop. I actually cringe at the thought of drinking pop now. Really weird, because I used to drink a lot of it. & I guess this means I've cut out caffeine too. My source was always pop or chocolate.
I really like being vegan. Being vegetarian was always surprisingly easy, once you give up meat, you really stop wanting it. But I didn't think giving up chocolate and the ability to bake straight out of the recipe book would be easy. & now I'm eating an astounding amount of fruit&vegetables. I've always liked them, just rarely ate them. Now, it appears I have no choice :D
Since giving up pop, my only non-water drink was a half-glass of cherry Kool-Aid. I was too sugary for me.
Now my next goal is to do a better job of recording food and exercise so I can know where I am.
