Weight coming off nicely this week! Staying under 1,440 calories. It’s hard, but I’m doing it! Next week, I might have to make it 1,700 calories/day, because my daughter is making me crème brûlée, and my husband’s aunt gave us a big bag of Pretzel Crisps with white chocolate and peppermint. If you’ve never tried them, DON’T! They’re delicious and addicting. Four of them is 130 calories. I’m trying to limit to three a day (98 calories). I WANT both of those things, and will work them into my food plan. I also am trying to work in Cracker Barrel Pecan Pancakes next week (1,050 NOT including syrup). After next week, back to another 1,450 week!

@NAVYWIFESKI, that's what I'm trying to do. Thanks for the encouragement. @writingwyo - I do better with allowing myself the things I want, and it is hard to eat the moderately, but I do much better than I used to. @shirfleur 1 - I don't know if they are lifelong habits yet, or not. I have such a LONG history (48 of my 68 years) of yo-yo dieting that I'm hesitant to believe anything is going to work in the long term. Thanks for your continuing encouragement - you've been there through the thick and thin, and I appreciate it!

I like you are having some foods you want and trying to learn moderation - that is exactly what I am trying to learn. It's long term work but it will help us when we get to maintenance

When I travel or just go out to breakfast, I carry my own LAKANTO maple syrup. Combo of monk fruit and erythritol. I really like it.
