I went over a thousand calories (1029). A little afraid because I know this will make me gain, but at the same time, healthy. On top of it all--I just finished eating dinner at 8:45. I try not to eat after 6, 7 at the latest. Double whammy, so I'm not looking forward to the scale tomorrow or Tuesday. On the other hand, dang--that flounder stuffed with crabmeat was awesome!

Well you must enjoy every aspect in life including yummy foods and moderation for your intake will allow that. It sounds to me like a good healthy choice and you could have eaten something with a really crazy amount of calories. So try not to weigh for a few days.. drink half your weight in water ozs and see what the result is then, good luck I know you will be fine:)

Thanks! I needed to hear that. I needed some support. I was only going to have one glass of wine, but I ended up eating late and I always have a glass of wine with dinner. That put my calories over because I had one earlier while I was cleaning. I'm not eating junk food, but real food--that has calories, too. Scares me because I want to really do this--I need to lose this weight.

Well you have mine, most everyone has gone off plan and enjoyed special calorie laden foods but they have knowledge that they just must kick it up a notch afterwards and get back on track. .you will continue to lose the weight... you already have lose some keep up the good work.

Thanks. I'm in this to the end. I can't wait to get to my first goal. That's when I step it up--with exercise!

The quality of what you eat is most important - if you go over calories it is not that bad if you are eating good quality food. Quality vs. Quantity - within reason, of course!

29 extra calories shouldn't make you gain. The sodium in food if you ate out could make you gain water weight which is temporary. Green tea is supposed to help rev up our metabolism.
