Question for everyone… What body/health metrics do you regularly track? Right now I am tracking my weight and blood pressure. I am thinking of adding a few more items to track. I am curious to see what everyone is doing. Also, who is regularly taking progress photos?

I track my food intake and steps.

I track my food and weigh twice a week. I have one before and after photo comparison. I call it my “before sugar” and “after sugar” photos.

I log my food most days and use a step counter aiming for 11k steps a day (rarely achieved). I weigh myself but not daily.

I also check my blood sugar every 3-4 days. I used to check my blood sugar EVERY SINGLE day for 1 year from Nov 2021 - Nov 2022. Nov 2021 is when I was told I had Diabetes 2. Now my A1c is normal and I’m off glipizide. I manage my diabetes with food.

I track food, weight, steps and flights of stairs. Not really sure why for stairs just think it’s cool. Lol I don’t do pics.. but I do enjoy seeing others

Food and exercise, weight every morning, body fat percentage (from the scale, so approximate) once a week. When I’m really on my game, I track my water intake too, which really pays off.

I am tracking weight on FS. My phone tracks my steps and flights of stairs.....( that all goes to steps - and calories burned) I don't really care about the calories burned except to see that I need to burn more!!!! Gah! I also take my blood pressure, but don't do that very regularly, only when I remember. I do take pics, but haven't posted any in a great while. I love to see others, I'm pretty embarrassed about my own, so I keep that to a minimum! (That said, I DO NOT share any of this journey on Facebook or other social. This is the only place I feel safe enough to share) Keep on trucking knox!!!

Oh - and yes.... I weigh every morning. This is key for keeping me on track. Although - for the last several months, I only log once a week. My journal does NOT meet to be flooded with daily weights - especially because they fluctuate up and down on the daily. And recently, my Saturday weigh ins are skipped if I am up. I will wait until another Saturday to record a loss.
