Good Mornin' peeps!

Not much happening in my neck of the woods, trudging thru another busy week. Woke up yesterday with a migraine so worked from home and all in all had a pretty productive day with a few cat naps in between it all. Looks like things will start to slow down by 4th of July or so, just under a crunch to meet some project deadlines right now.

Gee the sky just opened up and it is pouring out, glad I am not outside in it. And to think I was just going to go out and water my gardens, guess I can be happy with the "poor man's fertilizer" for today!!

Made a Costco run on Monday, always looking for new yummy things there while my DH roams around grazing. I found a few new items that struck my fancy. They had Chobani 6 oz containers on extreme sale, got two boxes of that. Found out Costco is going to be putting out their own brand of Greek Yogurt and stop carrying Fage so they were having a big yogurt blow-out sale. Next item...my mom told me about these salmon burgers she found here. Yup got a bag of those too, only 2 NCarbs and 20g protein apiece. Good deal, can take them from freezer straight to grill/pan or oven. Going to have them for supper tonight with mango salsa (also a Costco find). Mom also brought us lots of veggies from the farmers market on Sunday. Two heads of leaf lettuce, each was so huge that after cleaned and washed each took up a 2 gal zip lock bag. She also brought fresh chard and summer squash. Fresh local strawberries are on sale now here locally, gotta get me some this weekend.

New eating plan is going well, not extremely different, just adjusted the macros a bit.

Sounds like you are going to have a yummy dinner! I have been thinking about trying salmon burgers. Please let us know how they taste. I hope your busy week slows down! Have a good day Babs!

Hope your head feels better today. I think our gardens do much better with rain water anyway!

Migraines are horrible, although you may find yours will clear with the rain - I get horrible pressure headaches when it builds up for a storm, then it just releases when it starts to pour....but is damn painful if it doesn't rain. Glad you new plan is going well :)

It's wonderful you were able to accomplish some work despite the migraine. It looks like you've done some great shopping for your healthy eating plan, too. Enjoy!
