I did it!

First, I ran on and made friends with my elliptical this weekend. And today - I actually got up at 5:15 and ran before my shower!! Shibby!!! I even did some sit-ups and worked with free weights a little bit. So double-yay! :)

So my plan is to get up and run before my shower on Tuesdays and Thursday for a few weeks. Just till I really get in the habit and my body gets conditioned to regular running. Then I’ll move to Monday, Wednesday and Fridays. I think that will be exactly what I need to help me drop these last few pounds. I was definitely STARVING after I ran, so I know I was boosting my metabolism this morning. I feel good, so that’s the best part. :) But man, it was hard getting myself going that early in the morning! But I did it! And I’m really excited about this. Wish me luck getting up on Thursday! It’s just 2 days a week to start – I can do this!

I'll still be doing family walks and chasing around my toddler too, but I think I needed this boost of exercising to really tone up.

GO DEB! I knew you'd be able to do it :) Try having a little snack before working out - even like half an apple. It helps me working out and I am not so ravenous when I get off the machine. Keep it up girl and you'll break the plateau!
