weight today 152. Boredom,inactivity,, eating for recreation, and no strong resolve to avoid gaining weight are the base cause. Obviously I have not mastered this weight gain thing.

Part of it is cooking for others who can eat fatty and carb loaded foods with no problem. Part of it is lack of will. Losing weight is simple, exercise and food intake should establish a deficit which leads to losing fat from storage. Doing so in a healthy way isn't hard. Eating fiber, veggies, and taking vitamins along with sufficient protein and calories to prevent illness is a clear imperative. Boredom,inactivity,, eating for recreation, and no strong resolve to avoid gaining weight is the culprit. Inactive, bored, and put upon, required to cook meals I cannot safely eat combine to slow me down. At my age, I can lose 2 lbs a month and be comfortable and healthy as I head for " not overweight" goat of 138. It is possible. It is the American tragedy that in a country full of opportunites for good health we fail to achieve that goal. Blood sugar is a good goal. Don't eat until blood sugar is 100 to 110. Don't eat more than 400 for breakfast, 300 for lunch, and 300 for supper. How closely I can obey that is going to make the difference.
