Thank you, NAVYWIFESKI and UK cats! I sometimes think I'll get tired of taking pictures... They are after all the same flowers I see year after year, but somehow each rose is beautiful and special to me!  

Thank you, Princess! I sent you more that would not fit within my 6 pic limit. It was so hard to decide which to show today. Diana, I am glad you can enjoy the rain. I miss the sunshine, but I'm thankful I live in a place that is green! Thank you, Nikina and barby!!  

Katsolo, if I could come to your party I'd cut every bloom and promising bud and bring them all! Mammajamma, thank you! Now you know how the song makes such sense!!!! This is just the right kind of rain to form huge droplets. It is more like a gentle drizzle, so the drops just get bigger and cling to the pedals perfectly. A downpour destroys my flowers, and we had so much rain this spring that whole bushes full of buds became damaged and the blooms destroyed. I think thst is another reason I am enjoying them so much now. It is heartbreaking to see buds open and then rot.

I have a double delight that has just now stopped blooming. I'm one week in and still trying to adapt to less carbs. Found out I'm type 2 diabetic. Pasta has been a staple for many years. It's not that bad. just miss the desserts. lol
