Good Morning and OH YES the sun is shining brightly this morning. Love it, planning a nice long lunch time walk today with some of my work peeps. We have been looking forward to this!

Well, it is day 3 of VERY clean eating for me. Geez, do I ever feel good! Absolutely NO added sugar products and NO flour products (white or brown), NO rice or potatos, NO added fat (butter, oil, mayo)! The only sugar (about 25g/day) is from the natural sugars in the fruit, greek yogurt etc.
The scale already shows the difference and I am down 2 lbs in the past 3 days. Another plus, and I don't know if this is directly related or not, but my allergies have not been flaring up either. Now it causes me to ask myself, are my allergies caused by all the outside nature stuff or possibly from what I have been eating. Will have to monitor that.

Go Babs!! Maybe as you re-introduce what you are not eating back into your diet, do it one by one and see if one of them is the problem....

Babs, great job!!! I am really, really proud of you. 3 pounds in 2 days, and completely clean eating...that is awesome. I am so glad that you are feeling better, and that your allergies are better. Avoiding those foods makes such a difference in how I feel also. I had 2 sandwiches on whole wheat, low carb bread over the weekend, and I have to say that the intestinal problems that I experience when I eat bread immediately cropped back up. The bread is definately something that I will only eat once in a blue moon from now on. It was good though, I must admit. Hope that you have a wonderful, beautiful day. Enjoy your walk in the sun! The weather here is back to stormy again. We have been having sun in the morning and then the fierce storms roll in. Hugs!

Thanks everyone! Didn't start this because of my allergies, but I am definately seeing a direct correlation between what I eat (or don't eat) and how I feel. The flax meal is a definate must every day to avoid constipation. It is kind of a variation of the Dukan diet which I read alot about over the weekend. I skipped the Attack phase and went right to the Cruise phase which I can live with for along time, especially during the summer months. I like eating this way, love how I feel, it is very doable for a long period of time for me.

Babs, you have apparently hit upon a way of eating that is really beneficial to you. Your weight loss has taken off again, but more importantly you feel so good! It will be interesting to see what you discover about the correlation between what you eat (or don't) and your allergies. Have a good evening and a very happy tomorrow!
