Today started off crappy. My doctor gave me a "diet" plan. The goal is to lose 100 pounds within 2-3 years. It seems so overwhelming...like it's too much. I'm going to give it my best though. The day has changed and I'm feeling more calm and relaxed about what needs to be done.

Don't be demotivated. Break it into small chunks that feel achievable - say 10lb at a time and set a reward for each achievement. The first 10lb may take 2 months but think how great you'll feel achieving your first goal. You can do it - believe in yourself - it's the first step :-)

Hang in there Cuatromommy! Remember one day at a time and one hour at a time if you have to. I know it may seem daunting, but you CAN do it. Just continue to put one foot in front of the other and before you know it you will have travelled miles. Best of luck and God bless! :-)

I like to remember this: Q: "How do you eat an elephant?" A: "One bite at a time" You didn't put on 100 lbs overnight, it will take time to take it off. I've got the same goal as you, and I struggle, struggle, struggle. Hang in there, we're all rooting for you!
