I think I have a mild lactose intolerance where if I drink too much normal milk, I get sleepy. None of the other side effects thankfully! Coconut milk is super low in calories too which is a definite bonus.

There is an amino acid in milk called tryptophan which makes you sleepy. Maybe you are very sensitive to that?
