It's hard to believe that it's Thursday ALREADY! I had 2 additional goals for this week:
1. Eat a roasted vegetable daily - WED = PASSED
2. No alcohol - WED = PASSED
I hadn't been doing well on the roasted vegetable daily until yesterday. I have unlimitted excuses that all lead to FAIL. But yesterday I took the time to chop up carrots and zucchini for the roasting pans. I am surprised to report that there have been a few times that I've had to remind myself, NO wine today. As a creature of habit, a long day equals a glass of wine. This week has been full of long days. I've supplemented with lemon zinger tea. Which is probably much better for me anyways. The plan for roasted veggies tonight is more carrots, and some roasted sweet potato (if that's considered a veggie).

The 5k training is going AWESOME. Tuesday's run was 5/3 + 8/5 + 8/3 (walk/jog in minutes). I finished without a big struggle. Tonight's run will be 8/5 + 8. Which is less jogging than the last time, but two longer runs. I'm convinced that it'll be a breeze. I'm looking forward to it. It won't be much longer and I'll be jogging a full mile without stopping to walk!!! That is a HUGE milestone for me.
