I only complimented the broccoli b/c it looked so perfect. I've craving broccoli rabe, but can't find it. Your entire plate looks delicious. Sorry, sometimes I'm insensitive due to my single track mind as I'm hungry all the time now🙃

No AC not insensitive at all, I often crave greens and that broccoli was done so well even though I was juggling a bit, there were 6 of us and everyone said so! What is Broccoli rave is it the stem on a head?

Broccoli rabe, is also known as Rapini. It is related to the turnip, mustard green family. It's a bitter green. Some people don't like the taste of bitter. I grew up with it. It's often found in Italian or Mediterranean cooking. It goes well with Italian sausage or pizza. Or plainly roasted with garlic😋

I've been cooking greens for quite a long time. Ever since I could reach the stove and boil water. My favorite is salted water in a rolling, flash blanch in batches. Take out of water as soon as color changes. Retained heat will continue to cook veggie. Greens are so crucial to our dietary success and such a super food.
