Morning all. What happened to the weather in the Northeast? Looked like Spring was finally here last weekend, and now we're back in the 30's and 40's! I'm starting to get a runny nose from the weather change, but my race is in less than 3 weeks so I can't afford to slow down now.
Yesterday was my off day, as is every Tuesday because I simply don't have any time. I was at work late yesterday then I had my bowling league, in which I bowled horribly again.
Good news is that since Spring is coming around again, that means softball again! I opted out of playing for the very competitive team this year since they play 3-4 nights a week and I'd be losing out on some running/gym time. I'm going to stick with playing for my company's IT department(we're bad). I enjoy this league much more though because the bragging rights go deeper then during the games :).
Today I'll be lifting Shoulders/Back and doing an interval run on the treadmill of 7.0mph/8.0mph for 30 minutes.

Hopefully Jack Frost doesn't give you a cold, I can't wait to hear how your race goes! Bowling is exercise, so you weren't totally *off* ;) Ha! Company teams are always much better anyway. Sounds like you're going to have a fun league. Have fun at your workout, and have a great day!

Weather is horrible here as well, rainy, dark and muddy.. Temp dropped down too! Oh well, that never stopped me from running anyway so I'm not really complaining. Some sun wud be nice tho :)
I don't think it's gonna get any warmer by Apr 10 tho so good luck with ur mudd run! R u gonna compete with the costume? I saw they have so many costume awards: Most Bad-Ass, Most Dumb-Ass, Most Ass and Most Likely To Have Been In The Village People :D Sounds like fun!!! And u can also get a free tattoo! LOL
Merrel Down & Dirty is a little different, no costumes. It's ether 5k or 10K or u can do Nite Mud Run :)

Yeah, I usually dont mind running in colder temps, but we have tornado warnings today so it looks like a gym day. Thanks! The run will probably be rediculously tough since it also has 500 feet of elevation gain throughout the run. I'm not dressing up for this one, but I'm doing a 5K equivalent called Warrior's Dash in June and myself and a few friends are dressing up. We haven't picked out costumes yet though LOL

For Tough Mudder I'm running with my buddy's med school, The Community Medical College, so I'll have plenty of doctors around LOL. We haven't come up with a team name for Warrior's Dash though.
