Found a couple items at the market this week. Others posts last week enticed me! Asked last week at other places and they didn't carry them.

I've only bought dragon fruit 2 times, and both times I was really disappointed. it didn't really seem like it tasted like anything at all. I had assumed I just bought a bunk fruit. hopefully you were able to pick out a good one. those things are 💰💰💰💰

Rick... I thought they were very pricey too! Need to satisfy my curiosity though, but definitely won't be making it part of the food budget. 🤔💸

The white dragon fruits are bland compared to the red ones. I mix it with other tropical fruit, like fresh pineapple to make a fruit salad that I'd normally eat only on travels. Texturally fun to eat. However bland the white ones can be, they are so loaded with health benefits your $ was not wasted. I prefer the red ones, it's considered a splurge. The $$ on a fruit like this instead of picking up fast food.

I like fine julienne apple & jicama toss together like a slaw, spicy, lime, splash of fish sauce (very little). Finish with chopped peanuts & cilantro. I use cilantro like most folks use parsley. Enjoy your healthy cooking adventures.
