Guys I’m STRUGGLING. I’ve gained back 16lbs in about 3 months. I fell off my diet while on vacation and never started back up. Encouragement PLEASE. Tips?

Also... 16lbs might seem like alot to lose again, but it's literally 3 months of work, you'll lose 6lbs immediately from water retention then the rest slowly over 2-3 months

Did you start yet? The biggest challenge for me is getting started. Slow in the beginning, you can gain momentum the minute you see a tiny result.

What is your biggest challenge. Exercise. Park your car in the farthest corner of the parking lot. For me. I love breakfast. Now I have 1 egg 1 egg white veggie instead of cheese in a wheat tortilla. Way below my calorie budget. Also like a glass of wine with dinner. There are some good low calorie wines these days. Locally I find at Rite Aid or ALDI. Take one negative thing that keeps for from your goal and work on that week. To get started I ordered some HMR meals to have in the pantry knowing If your tried and do not want to cook does not mean you have fast food

I plan my meals the day before and put them in my tracker. That way I don't have to make decisions when I'm hungry. If I lose my willpower and have a bad day, I just try again the next day. Hope that helps a little.

Try focussing on foods that are lower in calories that you enjoy the taste of. Holiday season is the most for calorie consumption so make more low-cal meal choices and give yourself a little extra on how many numbers a day. Try an extra walk. Hope this helps :)

Firstly, we’ve all been there. All of our eating habits have an ebb and flow. What I try and do is write down my specific goals (dates), and then work back the math for my caloric targets. It helps bring into focus what you want to accomplish

paths are not always straight - don't stress over the twists and turns. You can do this.

I allow myself more latitude with what I eat on vacation or special occasions like holidays. I do still try to not go totally crazy even then. I have an "agreement" with myself that as soon as I get home I try to get back to my normal WOE. It may take a day or 2 to get back into the rhythm but try to make the effort. You've done it before...you CAN do it again !

Hannah, I have gained almost 20 lbs back in 7 months due to a back injury AND just ignoring what was going in my mouth! Trust me, you can get back on track, just do what you know worked before, it will happen! Good luck !⭐⭐⭐
