Guys I’m STRUGGLING. I’ve gained back 16lbs in about 3 months. I fell off my diet while on vacation and never started back up. Encouragement PLEASE. Tips?

If you work better with deadlines and accountability, an accountability buddy who checks in with you to see how you're keeping up helps. I paid for Noom so the coach would pressure me if I slacked off, but really anything that adds higher stakes might help until it becomes a habit.

It really just ultimately comes down to how bad you want it. Setting realistic goals and time tables. Then living it every day one day at a time, one meal at a time. Cut out the bad stuff. Find things you enjoy eating that are healthier. I lost my first 50 lbs by just eating cleaner. Then I joined the gym. I go 3 or 4 times a week for at least an hour or more if you have the time. Lastly being active on here helps. If you track nearly everything you put in your body then your more likely not to slip into bad habits. At least that's been my experience. Tomorrow is my 1 year anniversary of a healthier me. Good luck and you can do this!

Try drinking water more and tea and walking

Hey bestie ! I know this happens to the best of us but please try to get back up and realize what your working towards. A healthier future! Your main goal. That 3 month doesn’t define you and you can always get back up and work towards your goal.

Feel this feeling? Do everything you can to not feel it again. It’s going to come down to will power and how bad you don’t want to hate yourself. Or at least that’s how weight loss and dieting works for me. I reeeeallly really don’t want to hate myself…. Lol

The good thing is that you can realistically lose 16 lbs in two months. The longer you wait, the more unsurmountable it will seem.

First thing is to relax. Don't fret. Then work your way back into your good habits.

Start small --- start with your Breakfast - and come back and tell us what you had for breakfast --- then for lunch -- then for dinner --- and what did you have for a snack. What I do is --- take the say 1,200 and divide that into 6 small meals for 200 each --- it fills the belly with constant small meals to negate ... any feeling of needing to consume only 3 large meals. ------- have a glass of water --- then eat 200 calories x 6 times per day. ---- If you spent so much time to lose the weight - all of those days --- then you can count calories again - for today - and tomorrow and so on. it is not a struggle - just eat small more often so you do not feel any shortage and do not over consume in only 3 meals. Water and 200 calories.

So what did you have for Breakfast ? Breakfast Number One --- (out of two ) A glass of water and I had a cup of coffee with 1$ percent milk and white refined sugar and a 100 calorie lemon pie yogourt --- Breakfast Number 2 - 1 Bread toasted - 1 soft boiled egg - and 1 Pear. So what did you have for Breakfast ? Tell me - because I care.

That is supposed to be a percentage sign for 1 percent milk - but Coffee would be better - in the morning - if coffee did come with money ... lol.

Always overestimate the calories you eat while on vacation.. If you imagine something is 200-300 cals its probably 400-500 cals Drink plenty of water while on vacation too (this is advice for the future) As for now, the only thing you can do is start again... When you fall, you get back up, you don't sit there in self blame and never move again, just slowly lose that weight again and exercise more, walk, lift, swim, cycle... Dance? Whatever suits you
