Hood is just the brand. I think it's mis-info. Unless Hood actively remove protein from the milk for some other product. IDK. Half & half: Half milk, half cream.
We rely on labeling so much. I believe manufacturers use a lot of wiggle room for labeling purposes.

When amounts are so low, it's a rounding error/choice/approximation. It's a negligible amount.

Most manufacturers round down their numbers Occasionally you see some that will round up. Or viseversa on things you want high. I know great value labels their oats at 140 cals but if you do the math it's actually closer to 150. They could both have the same amount of protein.. which they probably do considering they are made from the same thing. The difference could be the serving size... A smaller serving size would make it closer to 0. Who knows. This is what makes actually tracking your calories and macros so difficult.

Good info...
Though my gut tells me (no pun/ok, pun) they're made from the same spigot, for data recording I'll use the Hood.
Odd reasoning to some, but in trying to keep the desired numbers up, underestimating an item is better than giving false highs.
