Well, I am starting a fast today. Not a water fast, exactly, but my own version of a fast. I am completely cutting out sweets (except fruits), fried food, fast food, snacks and junk food, anything but water, and red meat. I am really hoping that, not only will I learn self discipline, but I will be able to feel better about myself and know that I am doing this for a higher purpose than just losing weight. Now, my only problem is trying to get my parents to understand that I am doing it for God, and not just for personal gain. I'm not going to lie, this morning is the start of my fast, and I was already hurting pretty bad from not drinking coffee, and I had to completely get rid of all of my easter candy. i gave it to my little sister, so it shouldn't even be there when I get home today. LoL And the school says that their food is not fried, but it's so greasy and nasty, that I'm not going to even risk it. It will be a salad for lunch today! But I'm still having trouble with skipping meals. It's almost like I don't eve have time for breakfast, and sometimes, I just forget about lunch. So, by dinner time, I'm practically starving and I binge. IDK. I am not going to le tthat happen anymore. Although, I did mess up this morning by not eating... (:)
