I ate chili as a diet food. Mine is usually just ground beef, tomatoes, tomato paste and sauce and seasonings. Good high protein meal about 400-500 calories for what I eat. I drain and rinse my meat before adding seasonings and stuff to it so it’s less greasy. I also add some cheese (my weakness) which can add a lot of calories if I’m not careful. Maybe 1 serving of crackers if I have the calories for it.

Looks delicious! I use shredded steamed cabbage in place of pasta with my spaghetti sauce.

Have you tried your sauce on spaghetti squash or zucchini noodles? I feel fuller with squash noodles instead of pasta.

Yes!!! My husband always makes fun of me because when I make spaghetti For the family I just eat a huge bowl of sauce with Parmesan cheese. I find eating a lot noodles at night makes my stomach feel really bloated and I don’t sleep well. I eat a lot of carbs just not at dinner or my stomach feels very bloated in the morning. Sauce is where it’s at!!!

I made goulash last night. No pasta, just lots of cabbage in with the meat and tomatoes…..seasoning too…it was very tasty and filling…
