ONLY 16 DAYS TIL SPRING!

Why the heck wasn't I wasn't born with the "I LOVE TO EXERCISE" gene? I wonder if Hollywood could do something about that, you know, develop something like a botox injection to give us the gene if we weren't born with it? OK, so I know that is impossible but it was a good thought for a fleeting second! Got my comedic gander up this morning!

Oh happy day, it is Friday and my work from home day. Although it is quite cold out weather outlook (at least for today) appears good. Planning to get out at lunchtime and get in a walk on the trails.
Off to the seafood market this afternoon to stock up on fish for the week plus heading up to visit dad tomorrow so that consumes my whole Saturday. He loves cod so will get a bunch of that and make him baked cod for lunch tomorrow with a nice salad and some roasted asparagus. Used to make him cookies but I think I will look for one of the recipes I have here in my cookbook so I can plan to enjoy a nosh with him as well. NOM-NOM

I don't know if many people actually "love to exercise", but you can actually get to the point where you "want" to exercise because it makes you feel so good. Once it becomes a habit, you start to miss it when you can't do it. I have to force myself to do some workouts, but once I am done I feel so darned good.

Yes, that is always something that amazes me - for me I must sometimes wear off more calories trying to avoid starting my exercises, I will be standing there in my kit, on my trampoline and still be thinking of excuses of why I can't possibly do this today....then I start and I love it (ok if truth be told I don't hate it as much as I thought I would!).....but after the first few days I love the way my body feels firmer and stronger and this is where I find the willpower to keep exercising.

I don't think I have the love to exercise gene, but something kicks in WHILE I'm exercising. Also I feel much better, as in sense of accomplishment, after I exercise than before. Be good, Babs, and take care.

The more you exercise, the more you want to do it. At least that is what I have experienced in my life. Keep at it, it'll just become part of who you are. And the fish sounds very good.

LOL, I don't think any of us were born with that Gene:) I started out with walking, then walking brisk to a slow jog and now I enjoy doing some hard core, get the sweat going, heavy breathing stair Master Cardio and can say I honestly love doing it because it generates energy for my daze so that I can face Ms. "I am unhappy about everything", my children's issues, my husbands issues and whatever the world presents. I am truly feeling good most days. I used to be the last kid around the track and finally by going at my own pace I learned that my body really likes it so I like it:) TOWANDA!!!

YAHOO, 16 days to the official spring. I am jumping for joy. Although, some of our worst snow storm arrived in the month of March. Hoping it won't happen this year. Have a great weekend.:)
