After a crazy couple of days that ended my week last week, I had declared Sunday to be pajama day. Kids and I hung out on the couch and played while daddy slept off his midnight shift.

However, when daddy got up, he was excited to see such wonderful weather and asked if my son wanted to go for a bike ride. My son, in turn, asked if I would like to go, too. So, we had a family jaunt on one of the local trails. My husband and I ran the 5 mile trail (taking turns pushing our daughter in the running stroller) and my son pedaled his bike along with us.

It was great to get out with the entire family for some physical activity. I couldn't help but to smile as we (as a family) passed other along the trail. I'm proud of my little family :-)

After the run, we relaxed at a local restaurant for dinner and then hit the grocery store quickly before we had to return home so that daddy could get ready for another night of work.

We're still struggling with what to about the potential transfer opportunity for my husband. I was verbally contacted by my boss on Friday that a 'promotion' will be discussed with me in the near future, too. Ugh! Why does it all have to hit at once. I dislike making decisions, but I love getting past them as everything seems to fall in place once the decision is made.

Sounds like you had a great time with the family! As for the upcoming hard decisions you will have to make... good luck and don't turn to food for comfort! Everything will work out. :D
