First day on Atkins. OMG, it feels like SO much food, even though it's the same calories I normally eat. And so much meat. For someone who's been part-time vegetarian/vegan/raw the last few years it was a challenge today. I thought about breaking up my meat into my normal 3 oz servings, but I wasn't hungry and only ate 3 meals (the cheese I put in as a snack was actually part during lunch, part during dinner). I've been wanting a soda all day, and am trying to get a migraine from not drinking one. Took a migraine pill, and I'm hoping for the best. If I can get through the first 3 days I'll be fine.
Casey is still sick and I still haven't gotten more than 5 or 6 hours of sleep for the past 2 weeks. But, he's better and his infection is definitely going away.
