I started at 188 lbs in May 2021. I'm currently at 165 lbs using IF eating in an 8 hr window from noon to 8 pm. Some days I eat in a 4 hr window. Some days I eat once a day and some days I eat crap all day long. But somehow having load days and fast days has been the answer to weight loss for me.

I don't feel constantly deprived anymore. If I'm fasting one day or for a block of time I know I will eat soon.

I'm love to cook and I'm learning to cook things I love in new ways. I like chili and spaghetti and learned to substitute beans and pasta with mushrooms and keep all the same delicious seasonings that make the dishes so delicious. Creamy iced coffee is such a treat and can be made with almond coconut milk and blended into a delicious treat.

Food doesn't have to be bland and boring in order to lose weight. Learn a few key substitutions. Find your balance and enjoy what you eat so you will stick to it and achieve your goals.

I don't know what my ultimate weight goal is right now and I'm ok with that. I started out wanting to lose 10 lbs and set 5 lb goals after that because it seemed like an easier goal to break it down that way. So, I'm working on my next 5lbs goal until I feel done. Do whatever works for you and make your own. rules 🤗
