Since I started counting calories I eat bread. Bread doesn't make you gain weight, eating more calories than you burn is how you gain weight. So eat bread when you feel like it and just factor it in

@ Nass : I usually buy the Albany Ultima Kilojoule controlled brown bread. It tastes good and contains very little calories in comparison to other bread. You should try it😊. And I also completely agree with Zizo. Don't cut anything out, just portion control.
