I never heard of it before either, until someone else posted about it here recently... I thought it was a joke relating to the former mayor of DC! It certainly looks scrumptious.

Your best Father’s Day gift is your wife! I love baking and since that was my main theme in my life, my oven finally broke down. Oh well, will get a new one when we remodel the kitchen.🤣 Hasn’t happened and great for dieting!

The pies were beautiful but obviously I couldn’t wait to dive in. I wasn’t quite done in this photo. She baked/made over 100 pies this week. We actually had a mishap on Saturday and had to remake over 40 cream pies on Saturday.

Berry lineage is very interesting. The Marionberry was created in Marion County Oregon and is a hybrid of black and raspberry. You can find the family tree online. There are many mixes of black and raspberries. A Marionberry is a little sweeter than a blackberry and has less seeds. Less seeds is my favorite part!

Looks grand and I’d bet tastes the same! We scored on some fresh GA peaches this week and processed them for the freezer yesterday. So of course my wife whipped up a peach cobbler….might be a couple bites left 🤤👅
