At 34, almost 35, I'm learning that hormones, stress, and lifestyle have just as much to do with my weight loss/gain as what I eat and the excersize that I get. I have 3 children now... 13, 2, and 3 months. My 13 year old drives me batty. I really want to get along with her, but she typically antagonizes the little ones and causes more stress than not. Ugg. She's the best kid ever, just the worst kid when with the little guys. At any rate... I've been doing really really good about jogging every other day. Rain or shine I'm out on the track, jogging, huffing and puffing my way to the end of 2.2 miles. 2.2 miles is the current loop that I've been jogging. I'll have to add to that distance because I'm starting to get to the end w/o the cool down walk. Progress!!!! I'm paying attention to what I'm eating. I'm actually logging my calories. For the most part, I'm making good choices, but not getting psycho over a few extra bites. The baby weight is coming off slow. I stopped breast feeding a week ago which totally stopped the loss. SO... I'm continuing the battle, training for the mud run on June 8 then the color run at the end of June. My goal is to get to 185 and run a 5k this year. Maybe at the end of the summer, I'll tackle a 10k. Who knows?
