Trying to get back on track. I pulled out of the plan for a few weeks and no exercise except for a lot of walking and some running. I pulled a muscle in my side sneezing last week and every time I sneeze or cough I get a sharp pain in my lower left side. It's so bad I'm incapacitated for a few minutes and each time it happens it gets more severe.

The last time I sneezed was Saturday and I was in Richmond VA driving back to NY. I'm leaving a gas station and I ended up sitting in the exit waiting for the pain to subside. I'm really glad I wasn't on I-95 when I sneezed. That was the last time I sneezed and if I feel one coming on I do everything I can to stop it. People around me sneeze and all I think is don't sneeze..don't sneeze...don't sneeze.

Anyways..I went to the gym last night and did a lighter workout. Felt good except for the last set on the chin-up station. That's where I found the muscle I hurt from a rouge sneeze. I just hung there and stretched things out for a minute or so and said forget the pull-up. Everything else was fine including back exercises and sit-ups. I'll try to isolate the muscle and work on it when it's calmed down. It has improved and I'm thinking a sneeze will probably not be a problem...but I'm still going to avoid one if I can. I mowed lawn last night and the pollen was flying and I still avoided sneezing.

Getting old sucks!

remember you CAN lose weight without exercise...
